Q. Can I buy photos from you even if they are not pictures that you took of me or even for me?
A. Yes. At DKS Photography we have a library of over 2000 photos that are for sale.

Q. I want to buy pictures that you took of my children, but don't want other people to be able to view or purchase these images, can you help me?
A. I can indeed. The question you ask is of a growing concern for parents. Advise me when I take the photos for you and I can create a private gallery that is password protected and the general public are blocked from viewing and ordering. This is good for wedding proofs as children are almost certain to be in the frame somewhere at a wedding.

Q. Do you supply photos as gift items that are a bit different?
A. We can print photos onto many things. How about your picture on a coffee mug, T-shirt, apron or even a ceramic 150 x 150 mm wall tile for your kitchen or bathroom! Remember the kids or family pet forever.

Q. I like the sound of that, how do I go about this?
A. To view my library, click on "View library" in the side navigation buttons on this, or any of my pages. This will direct you to my "On line" store. When you decide which images you want to buy, click on "add to cart", then when you have finished looking around, click on "check out". There are a few drop down menus that give all sorts of options such as standard photos, digital prints, gifts etc. And even with the standard and digital photo options, you can have any size that is shown as available in yet another drop down menu. Play around in there for a while to get comfortable. You can remove any or all of the selected items from the shopping cart at this stage, you are still a few pages away from committing to purchase.

Q. I had a look in your online store and I wanted to buy a photograph, but it wants me to be an American, the store won't let me enter NSW as a state, what is happening?
A. The online store is international. As with most things on the internet these days, America is the default country for everything. If you click beside the word America you will be presented with just about every country in the world, Australia is near the top as it is an alphabetical list. When Australia is selected as the country you want to enter as your postal and billing address, you will see everything works perfectly.

Q. I think the online store is in American currency, how do I pay in Australian dollars?
A. Your credit card will be charged the exchange rate plus a small exchange fee (check with your bank, but it is usually around 1%).
At the time of editing this list of questions, a close rule of thumb would be to multiply the cost shown in American dollars by 1.3, this will give you a simple indication of the cost in Australian dollars.

Q. How long before I can expect my purchase to arrive?
A. Depending on which form of postage you choose and pay for, delivery time can be as quick as 4 days. On average, if a slower form of postage is selected, the time can run out to 2 weeks.

Q. Why do you have an online store that is in America?
A. My online store prints the highest standard of photographs that I have seen, coupled with the best prices that I have been able to negotiate for you.

Q. What if I want really big photographs like you mention, 6 x 4 feet! Can you really do that?
A. Yes! For images up to 30 x 40 inches approx 750 x 1000mm's, the easiest way is to order through my online store. If you want bigger, or if the online store won't offer that big, then contact me by clicking on the "Ask a question" button in the side navigation buttons. Prints this size are usually discussed prior to my taking the photographs.
